dc.description.abstract | Nursing students are valuable Human Resources The Nurses Educator have a major role in nursing education Aim was to find relationship between selfesteem study habits adjustment and academic achievement of 440 II year BSc and GNM nursing students North Zone of Bengaluru Study revealed that majority of the nursing students has high self esteem good study habits but average level of adjustment and academic achievement Majority of BSc nursing subjects showed high self esteem GNM subjects showed good study habits Evidently both group showed nil significant difference in their average level of adjustment and academic achievement In specific highlighted that social esteem habits of concentration and social adjustment needs to be improved among nursing students in order to uplift their level of academic achievement from average and below average to first class and above It is also proved that self esteem variable is essential in order to predict adjustment and study habits but not for the academic achievement In association it was exposed that low level self esteem has higher odds to cause poor adjustment and bad study habits among all students The significant socio demographic characteristic the personal level of students expectations to achieve in their academics connote need for inculcate self motivation in enhancing all four study variables | en_US |
