Abstract: | The topic of e-Governance was well-considered because of the demand to heavily rely on the mouse for governance in light of the current impact of Information Communication Technology (ICT) on administration. The government must also make arrangements to ensure that crucial information is communicated to the public, businesses, government and sub-government agencies, and NGOs. newlineWhile governance is in the process and outcome of making wise decisions for the newlinegood of society, the government is the mechanism or institutional framework used newlineto exercise sovereign power. Mal-governance results from governance that does not newlinemaximize advantages for the greatest number of people. In a welfare state, good newlinegovernance is the goal, and there are several ways to get there. The best option for newlinebringing about a paradigm shift in governance is e-Governance. E-government newlineutilizes information and communication technology (ICT) to provide public newlineservices. E-Governance is pervasive in this cutthroat market. However, wealthy newlinecountries are far ahead of poor countries in terms of the success of e-government newlineprojects, leading to a digital divide. Developing countries have not fully reaped the newlinerewards of ICT. This is due to a wide range of factors, including inadequate newlinetechnology, inadequate finance, a lack of political will or commitment, opposition newlineto change, etc. This thesis makes an effort to highlight these concerns by drawing newlineon the experiences and conclusions of developing nations, seasoned businesses, EGovernment actors, government and non-government organizations, blogs, etc. |
