Abstract: | Earth totally comprises 75% of water both in frozen and liquid form. The volume of water on Earth is about 1.39 billion cubic kilometers, with the global seas holding the majority of this water around 96.5%. The remainder is held in lakes, rivers, streams, groundwater and soil with another 1.7 % in the glaciers, ice caps, and snow. Only 0.000001 % of the water on Earth is present in the atmosphere as water vapour. There are various manufacturing industries that are growing in this era. These are highly equipped for manufacturing the products which are required by the common people. After manufacturing, the residue that is present after the process is discarded by the industry in various ways. They release it in air through chimneys, in water through the pipes and dumped on the outskirts of the residential areas. There is been control in the effluent releasing through the chimneys with specific dilution, timing (when to release) and other respective stuff that s make it safer from the other methods, if followed. On dumping also now we have a segregation technique as per hazardous department, so that its disposal will be safer for the humans in and around. Seeking for the technique of releasing textile effluent in the water like lakes, sea and river is needed and it becomes difficult to ensure the percentage of risk that would be occurred in a cycle finally affecting the nature as well as living organisms. Looking at industries mainly textile industries release their effluent in the water which would be very harmful if not diluted by any treatments newline |
