dc.description.abstractPresent study was designed to investigate the effectiveness of the experiential learning strategies on the learning outcomes and interpersonal skills of senior secondary students in relation to learning approaches. This was an experimental study conducted on a randomly selected sample of 210 Senior Secondary students studying in school affiliated to PSEB of Amritsar city, out of which 105 comprised Experimental Group and rest 105 students comprised of Traditional Group. Experimental group was taught through experiential learning Strategies and Control group with conventional learning strategies. Self constructed and validated Learning Outcome Test and Interpersonal skills Scale was employed to collect data from the sample. For the classification of sample on the basis of learning approach, the revised Two-Factor Study process Questionnaire (R-SPQ-2F) by Biggs was used. t- test and ANNOVA were employed to test the hypotheses. Result revealed significant difference in learning outcomes and interpersonal skills of experimental group in comparison to control group due to intervention of experiential learning strategies and Experimental group scored better in both dependent variables. Deep learning approach students performed better in both dependent variables than Surface learning approach students in both the groups. newline
