Abstract: | The present research was designed to investigate the pattern of emotional intelligence, organizational commitment, organizational effectiveness and well-being perceived by banking professional working in private and public sector banks. To achieve this researcher collected data from the banking professionals having different duration of work experience. These professionals were working as senior and assistant managers in the job hierarchy. With the help of standardized measures, data was obtained for emotional intelligence, organizational commitment and its dimensions, organizational effectiveness and its dimensions and well-being and its dimensions. By approaching and investigating the banking professions varying in their sector, work experience and hierarchical levels, data was obtained. Data were collected through online mode. Data were analyzed by using Descriptive Statistics, 3- way Analysis of Variance and Co--relational Analysis. In the present research the inter group differences in perceived emotional intelligence, organizational commitment, organizational effectiveness and well-being of working banking professionals in terms of sector of organization (Government/Private), employee hierarchy, and job experience. Besides, the inter-relationships between these variables were also examines. The results of the study indicated that professionals working in private bank demonstrated higher emotional intelligence, organizational commitment, organizational effectiveness and well-being as compared professionals working in public sector bank. Job experience also influenced the perception of these variables. Experienced professionals showed higher emotional intelligence, organizational commitment, organizational effectiveness and well-being. Similarly senior professionals also indicated higher degree of emotional intelligence, organizational commitment, organizational effectiveness and well-being as compared to junior professionals.
