Abstract: The aim of the present investigation was to study psychological well-being and its correlates namely stress, coping strategies, perceived social support, couple satisfaction, happiness, mental health, hopelessness, anxiety, emotion regulation, loneliness, and satisfaction with life among working and non-working wives of seafarers. The results reveal significant differences with working women higher on psychological well-being as compared to non-working women. Significant correlations emerged between psychological well-being and its correlates. Results also revealed the predictors of psychological well-being. The study results implicate that there is a need to offer stress management interventions and coping-based programs to enhance psychological well-being. newline
