Abstract: The distributed mode of energy generation is in the rising trend newlineboth in the global market as well as in the Indian context The efficient newlinecontribution of two weather driven renewables namely the wind and the solar newlinephotovoltaic can enhance the system efficiency thereby significantly newlineimproving the reliability particularly in remote village locations The wind newlineenergy system may not be technically viable at all sites as the wind is variable newline intermittent in nature The combined utilization of both the wind and the newlinesolar energy is therefore becoming increasingly attractive and are being newlinewidely used as an alternative to oil produced energy newline
