dc.description.abstractThe aim of the present investigation was to compare women with and without knee osteoarthritis on different psychological variables. The results revealed significant differences between the two groups on Stress, Coping, Health Related Quality of Life, Positive Emotions and Body Mass Index. Similarly, differences emerged between urban and rural women with knee osteoarthritis on Perceived Stress, Coping, Physical Functioning, Optimism, Happiness and Body Mass Index. Psychological counseling along with physical therapy may prove to be beneficial for such patients. newline
