Abstract: The main aim of a refrigeration system is to cool a particular space by newlineremoving some amount of heat from it. Heat transfer deals with energy. Researchers newlineare continued to do much research on heat transfer processes for various engineering newlineapplications [1]. They are attempting to reduce the power consumption for the heat newlinetransfer processes in such applications. newlineEnergy-saving and energy improvement is now an emerging topic for the newlineresearch of the latest technology [2]. Global warming and continuously increasing newlinefossil fuel prices diverted the direction of the research towards improving the newlineperformance of the thermal systems. Design and development of a waste heat newlinerecovery system for the domestic thermal heat sources as well as the development newlineof a system that reduces power consumption are important areas of research for the newlinereduction in total energy cost. If these systems are designed optimally and newlineimplemented in residential and small-scale commercial buildings, the entire society newlinewould be highly benefitted [64]. newlineThe considerable amount of power consumption of refrigeration and air newlineconditioning system has attracted researcher towards reducing the power newlineconsumption in a refrigeration system. As researcher has taken the refrigeration newlinesystem with water cooled condensers, the emphasis is given on the water-cooled newlinecondensers here. A typical water-cooled condenser involves a heat rejection closed newlinesystem in which the condenser heat is released to the environment with the help of newlinewater. A water-cooled condenser exchanges heat with refrigerant vapour and newlinetransfer it to the water running through it. When the refrigerant vapour gets newlinecondensed outside of the water tube the condensation happens and the vapour newlineconverts into liquid giving all its heat to the water. It causes water to get heated. The newlinewater-cooling condensers are generally shell and tube heat exchangers in which the newlinerefrigerant circulates through the shell and the coolant i.e. water flows in tubes. newlineThe proposed model of optimization of power in VCC using water coo
