Nowadays, Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) composites are brought much attention in countless applications such as ship building (body), offshore gas and oil industries (drilling platform), renewable energy companies (wind turbine blade), automobile parts (body), civil infrastructure (buildings, sunroof panel), aerospace, electrical fields., due to their superior properties namely light weight, high mechanical properties, good corrosion resistant and main importantly better tribological characteristics. Mainly the research is focused by various investigators on addition of synthetic fillers in the polymer matrix composites to increase their mechanical, thermal properties even though it creates more ecological problems during processing and non- biodegradable. Later it is shifted to incorporate the natural fibers due to non- toxic, low cost, light weight, biodegradable, eco-friendly, renewability and abundant availability. newlineIn order to get benefit of synthetic fillers and natural fibers simultaneously the hybridization is brought into the picture to significantly enhance the above said properties. Moreover, these enhancements in the polymer matrix are achieved by proper hybridization with respect newline
