Abstract: The main objective of this study is The effecting of using modern newlinemedia tools on learning English language by the Undergraduate Level newlineStudents of English language departments of S.R.T.M. University (India) newlineand Sana a University (Yemen). From the perspective of students newlinethemselves and their teachers of the English department. newlineThe study primarily adopted the descriptive design and the newlinequantitative approach. The data were collected through a questionnaire newlinewhich consisted of (90) items for student s questionnaire and 91 items for newlineteacher s questionnaire distributed among seven main domains: using newlinemodern media tools in classrooms; using modern media tools in homes; the newlineimpact of modern media; the most influential of modern media tools; newlineenhancing English language skills, students and teachers experience and newlinechallenges and problems that face students and teachers while using modern newlinemedia tools. After ensuring its validity and reliability, it was administered newlineto students and S.R.T.M. University students in India and Sana a University newlinein Yemen. The sample consisted of (240) students and (40) teachers from newlinethe English language departments of both Universities. The data collected newlinewere computed and analyzed using the Statistical Package of Social newlineSciences (S.P.S.S.) for Windows (version 17.0). newlineThe current study is divided into five chapters. Chapter one includes newlinea general introduction about the study, importance of English in post newlineglobalization, recent trends on learning English, discussion of the historical newlinereview of the education system in Yemen and India, statement of the newlineproblem objectives of the study, hypothesis of the study, necessity of the newline(v) newlinestudy, scope and delimitations of the study are also introduced in this newlinechapter in sections. newlineChapter two is a theoretical background for the study.
