Abstract: quotABSTRACT newlineThe prefecture of IP Address lookup demands is at high speed and this task is newlinecrucial in the discipline of IP packet routing. The Internet encompasses routers that route newlinepackets to the intended destinations; and media which transport them between routers. newlineWhen a packet arrives at a router, it is intended to determine the packet s next-hop. The newlinerouter looks up the DA of arriving packet in the forwarding base. The Internet statistics newlineshow that packet arrival rates and Internet traffic became the bottleneck of routers. Since newlinepast few decades due to the accelerated research on IP Lookup mechanisms routers also newlineare exhibiting a noteworthy performance in terms of speed and other factors.
