The most significant mediating variable out of the three stated above is found to be Job Satisfaction. The present research has followed the research philosophy of Positivist , where it is believed that predictions can be made on account of the previously observed and explained realities and their inter-relationships. With this philosophy, the present research has attempted to evolve the factors contributing to Workplace Happiness of employees in the IT and ITeS sector organizations. Employees from the chosen geographical location of Delhi-NCR have been taken as sample for the present research. This research will contribute to various stakeholders in terms of various aspects. Results of demographics shows that employees in the initial stages of career are less happy; hence organizations can make efforts to utilize the young workforce better and same shall be applicable to female employees as they are found to be less happy at workplace comparative to male employees. Employees in the top hierarchical position tend to be happier than their subordinates. Overall, it is concluded that in order to enhance employees experiences of Workplace Happiness, organizations must display acts of virtuousness towards them. newline |
