Abstract: | The culmination of the entire work embarked upon designing multivariate nanowagons such as nanoemulsion, nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs), niosomes, polymeric nanoparticles (NPs), and cubosomes for successful encapsulation and delivery of the Immunomodulating agents. Poor solubility and lower bioavailability are the shortcomings associated with the systematic administration of pharmaceutical agents ((Toll like receptor 7/8 agonists, Indoleamine pyrrole 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) inhibitor, and Methotrexate (MTX)). Consequently, the thesis investigates the development of nanoassemblies for immunomodulating drugs followed by their physicochemical characterization employing several spectroscopic and microscopic techniques for examining their thermal, and morphological attributes. The proficiency of the formulations in terms of their biosafety and encapsulation efficiency has proved the effectiveness of the proposed research. It can be accentuated that all the fabricated formulations appear to be a lucrative choice owing to their higher stability, longer shelf life, ease of preparation, and sustained release profiles with the perspective of enhancing the bioavailability of the bioactive agents. Overall the studies are expected to streamline the high translational potential of the developed drug delivery models for enhancing the therapeutic potential of the immunomodulating agents in the bench-to-bedside approach model. The remarkable results obtained represent a significant advancement of the previous work towards a more compliant pharmacotherapy. newline |
