In the present exploration, the powder metallurgy (PM) technique newlinewas utilized to synthesize titanium carbide (TiC) and boron carbide (B4C) newlinebased aluminium metal matrix. The different control factors such as sintering newlinetime, sintering temperature and compaction pressure were used to develop the newlinequality of metal matrix. Taguchi experimental design with L9 orthogonal array newlinewas utilized to perform the optimal responses namely density, hardness and newlinecompression strength. Optimizes the parameter levels were attained from newlineSignal to Noise ratio (S/N ratio) main plot. The role of each input constrains newlineon the responses was performed by analysis of variance (ANOVA). newlineBased on the experimental outcome, the sintering temperature and newlinecompaction pressure was produced the largest effect on responses. The newlinehardness and compression strength was mainly depends on sintering time and newlinetemperature. It was validated through ANOVA. The exceptional substance newlineproperties of Al MMC were attained through optimal factor levels. newlineThe optimal density (Based on the lower the better criterion) was newlineobtained at sintering time of 2hr, sintering temperature of 615oC and newlinecompaction pressure of 250 MPa. The compaction pressure was the most newlineinfluential factor (71.53%) in the effect of density. newlineThe optimal (Based on the larger the better criterion) hardness was newlineachieved at sintering time at 2.25hr, sintering temperature at 615oC and newlinecompaction pressure of 350MPa. The compaction pressure was provided the newlinegreatest effect on hardness. newline
