Abstract: | With the rapid development of 5th Generation mobile network (5G), newlinethe need to integrate multiple frequency bands and multiple wireless standards newlineinto 5G systems is growing. The antenna is an essential part of the system to newlineensure communication quality. Therefore, research on antennas and arrays newlinesuitable for the 5G frequency bands is of great significance for future wireless newlinecommunication systems. newlineMutual Coupling (MC) is the exchange of energy between multiple newlineantennas when placed on the same PCB, this being one of the critical parameters newlineand a significant issue to be considered when designing MIMO antennas. Various newlinecoupling reduction approaches that are commonly employed in the literature are newlinecategorized based on the mechanisms. It appears significantly where multiple newlineantennas are placed very close to each other, with a high coupling affecting the newlineperformance of the array, in terms of radiation patterns, reflection coefficient, and newlineinfluencing the input impedance. newlineThe proposed antenna referred to in this research work has a unique newlinedesign with various structural shapes and these antennas provide better isolation newlineperformance. A new comparative study concerning four different MIMO array newlinetypes (NFPA, NWBFA, OMFA and WSFA), is also explained in detail. newlineThe operating frequency range of all the methods used is in the range of 2.4 GHz newlinewith a small footprint for the antenna newline |
