Abstract: In the present study the Bayesian estimation of the parameters and reliability measures of different distributions have been obtained under different observational schemes of data collection. Using both the informative and non-informative priors and symmetric and asymmetric loss functions, these Bayesian estimates are derived wherein appropriate use of some MCMC techniques is also done. newlineFor data collection, different types of censoring schemes have been considered. The concept of record values is taken into consideration. Highest posterior density (HPD) credible intervals are also provided along with Bayes estimators. Some real life examples along with the simulation results are carried out for all the models considered in the study. newline newline
