In the latest years, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) have grown newlinesignificantly and have substantial potential in many applications such as newlinehealth, environment, military and so on. Inspite of their effective abilities, newlineWSN may incorporate some key challenges like energy efficiency, network newlinescalability, security, delay, routing and so on. Among these challenges, newlineconsumption of energy is regarded as the foremost issues in the WSN newlineresearch areas. The energy consumption will be high at the time of sensing, newlinecommunication, and processing. Of these, maximum amount of energy spent newlineis at the time of communication. newlineThe foremost intention is energy maintenance in WSN, thus to newlineovercome this high consumption of energy and reduced network lifetime, the newlinefirst work is presented. This work aims at decreasing the energy consumption newlineand thereby extending network lifetime in homogeneous Wireless sensor newlinenetwork. An Enhanced Location aware-Agent Based Clustering (EL-ABC) newlineprotocol is put forward, that enhances the network lifetime by reduced energy newline
