Abstract: In the present study, we have selected Ni-Zn ferrite material keeping in view its promising characteristics; like high resistivity, high Curie temperature, low temperature factor, low relative loss and sufficiently high permeability. All these characteristics make it a preferred choice for use in wide range of applications. We have used the solution based auto combustion method to synthesize the phase pure ferrite materials at much lower temperatures. This method is self propagating, use relatively simple cost effective equipment and ensures synthesis of high purity application grade end products. The effect of Process Parameters, composition, pH value of precursor solution, fuel to oxidant ratio, calcination temperature, substitutions at cationic site and environmental conditions on the Structural, Magnetic and Dielectric properties of the Nickel Zinc ferrites has been thoroughly investigated newline
