Abstract: To better understand how far along the adoption curve farmers are with regards to newlinedairy farming technology this research surveyed those living in Rajasthan s newlineBhilwara and Rajsamand districts A total of 180 farmers from three different newlineblocks in the Bhilwara and Rajsamand districts were chosen at random According newlineto the findings the majority of farmers 94.6% in the case of dry fodder 44.6% in newlinethe case of chaffing fodder 48.6% in the case of giving colostrums to newborn newlinecalves 28.4% in the case of de worming and 80% in the case of drinking water newlinehave adopted these practices Age education family size dairy experience newlineparticipation in an organization land ownership possession of livestock annual newlineincome economic motivation market orientation scientific orientation and newlineknowledge of improved dairy management practices are among the thirteen newlineindependent variables found to have a positive and significant relationship with newlinethe adoption of dairy farming technologies Other factors include knowledge of newlineimproved dairy management practices newlineResearch was done on dairy cow and buffalo breeding at Bhim Mandal and newlineAsind in the districts of Bhilwara and Rajsamand Possible embryonic loss in newlinesynchronized cows was observed in the research and the efficacy of single and newlinedouble injections of prostaglandin hormone was compared In this research newlinequestionnaires and focus groups were used to collect data About 180 families newlineanswered the survey s questions The qualitative and quantitative characteristics newlinewere described through the use of a structured questionnaire. A single dose of newlineprostaglandin was given to 130 cows or heifers to see how it affected estrus newlineinduction, conception rate, and number of services per conception Cows and newlineheifers that did not respond to the first prostaglandin injection received a second newline newline
