Abstract: The research work contained in the thesis reports the Quality by Design (QbD)-based development of diverse nanocarriers, embedded into microdroplets, to improve the targeting and biopharmaceutical potential of voriconazole, an antifungal drug, and ceftazidime, an antibacterial drug. The thesis contents are written systematically and presented nicely in form of pictorial and tabular illustrations. Nanostructured drug delivery as well as the role of bioactives in amelioration of neurodegenerative disorders along with Quality-by-Design, and monograph profiles of drugs and excipients used. The study discusses the development of a validated analytical method for bromocriptine using Analytical Quality by Design Approach. Simple, sensitive and reliable RP-HPLC technique is developed and validated by the candidate for quantification of bromocriptine along with special tools like Monte Carlo Simulations for scientific interpretation and validation. The study presents a good account of research work with appropriate discussion of major findings and outcomes of the studies, indicating the intellectual capability of the candidate and sound theoretical knowledge of the work carried out. Also, the candidate has considered an appropriate number of bibliographic sources quoted in the thesis. newline
