Abstract: quotABSTRACT newlineBisphenol A(BPA) is an epoxy resin which is generally used in the manufacture of newlinecertain plastic components such as sports bottles, children s toys, thermal cash receipt newlinepapers etc. BPA is used in the plastic products since a long time. The presence of BPA is newlinetoxic to the mankind, animals and aquatic life which in turn leads to many disorders. newlineBPA is generally termed as an endocrine disruptor. There are various health concerns of newlineBPA which in turn effects the metabolic factors of the endocrine system. It effects the newlinethyroid function to the mankind upon the continuous exposure to BPA. It may also be a newlinecause for the cancer, fertility issues etc. in the long run. newlineAs this seems to be an issue to the environment is really necessary to degrade the BPA to newlinea maximum extent where there will not be any health effects to the mankind further. newlineThere are various biodegradation studies focused in the present days in order to degrade newlinethe BPA up to a maximum extent.quot newline newline
