Abstract: The scarcity of construction materials in India is a major issue to be newlineresolved as the currently exploited natural resources become rare. To newlineminimize this impact, this research investigates replacement materials for newlineconcrete ingredients such as fine and coarse aggregates. Slag material, a newlinebyproduct of the cupola furnace, is used as an alternative material in the form newlineof powder and coarse form. Concrete of various standard grades (M20 and newlineM25) and designed grades (M30) were prepared with the new proposed newlinematerial and tested for its various properties in order to justify its utilization newlineas construction material. This research involves the construction of ecofriendly newlinecupola slag concrete, and the comparison is made to conventional newlineconcrete. newlineIn this study, the specimens were prepared in the forms of a cube, a newlinecylinder, and a beam in order to perform strength point of view such as newlinecompression, split tensile and flexural testing. The specimens are cured for 7, newline14, and 28 days before being evaluated for their strength parameters. During newlinethe manufacture of the specimen, the Fine Aggregates (FA) and Coarse newlineAggregates (CA) were replaced with varying percentages from 0 to 100 newlinepercent in 10 steps, both individually and combined. In addition to FA, CA, newlineand combined FA and CA replacement, the nano-particles have been mixed newlinewith cement to increase the strength of cubical concrete specimens. When newlinecompared to conventional concrete, the mechanical properties test results newlineindicated beneficial results at 50% for FACS and 30% for CACS owing to the newlineuse of cupola slag in concrete. newline
