Investigation on Wireless Non Invasive Diagnostic Approach for the Neuro Degenerative Parkinsons Disease

Abstract

Parkinson s disease (PD) is a neuro-degenerative disorder caused due to the degeneration of neuro-transmitter called dopamine. Loss of neural transmitter will cause lack of information transmission between nervous system and sensory organs. People with PD develop non-motor symptoms in the initial stages of the disease (i.e., approximately 20 years after the dopamine started to decline) and motor symptoms after the clinical onset of the disease. (i.e., after 60-80 % of dopamine started to decline) [1]. The World Health Organisation statistics on global prevalence of PD showed 9.4 M individual are affected with the disease increasing the societal burden. The disease is the second neurological disorder that causes death worldwide [2].
