Abstract: Aim: newlineEvaluation of antidyslipidemic and antiobesity activity of extracts/ fractions of M. newlinecharantia and P. corylifolia using various animal model and development of polyherbal newlinetablet formulation for obesity and dyslipidemia management. newlineMaterials and methods: newlineLeaves of plants were collected from Latur and authentication was done at BSI, newlinePune. Qualitative and quantitative phytochemical estimation of extracts were performed newlineand HR-LCMS analysis was carried out for ethanolic leaf extract of both plants. In-vitro newlineantioxidant activity of extracts was carried out using DPPH and FRAP assay while newlinepancreatic lipase inhibitory potential of these extracts also checked. Antidyslipidemic newlinepotential of ethanolic leaf extract (EMC and EPC) of both plants was performed using newlineTriton X-100-induced hyperlipidemia. Molecular docking of selected phytoconstituents newlinefrom both plants were performed using AutoDock Vina software and evaluated for newlinebinding free energy, reacting amino acid residue, bond type and bond length. Further, newlineantidyslipidemic and antiobesity potential of fractions (CHF and ACF) of P. corylifolia newlineethanolic leaf extract was assessed by HFD-induced obesity in rats. Polyherbal tablet newlineformulation was designed and developed for obesity and dyslipidemia management. newlineVarious pre- and post-formulation studies were carried out to optimize the final newlineformulation of tablet. Stability study was performed and final optimized formulation of newlinetablet was assessed for in-vivo antidyslipidemic and antiobesity activity using HFDinduced newlineobesity rat model. Antiobesity and antidyslipidemic potential was assessed by newlineusing body weight, food consumption, anthropometric parameters, biochemical analysis, newlinehepatic biomarkers, blood glucose, body temperature and histopathological studies of newlineliver, adipose tissue, coronary and carotid arteries. newlineResults: newlineQualitative phytochemical estimation confirmed the presence of flavonoids, newlinephenolic acids, terpenoids, glycosides and which is further reconfirmed by using newlinequantitative evaluation of total phenolic and fl
