Abstract: | Banana is one of the leading fruit crop and considered as the Apple of Paradise . It is also known as Adam s fig . Banana (Musa spp.) is believed to have originated in the hot tropical region of South-East Asia and India is believed to be one of the centers of origin. It belongs to the family Musaceae. Three experimentswere carried out. In first experiment nutritional survey of banana orchard is carried out in two district of Bihar, second and third experiment was carried out in tooth bagan, Bihar Agriculture college, Sabour to study the effect of nitrogen and potassium on growth, yield, quality and post harvest life of banana during the year 2013-15. newline |
