Abstract: | Now a day s one of the biggest persisting problem is regarding the skeletal newlinedefects. Not only the old age people, but even the youth is highly affected by this newlineproblem. The reason behind this may be the modern life style or the adulteration in newlinefood. Large demands exists regarding the knee, hip joints and bone replacement in newlinecase of maxillary-mandibular area and the ossicular chain in middle ear. Major newlineproblem to be solved is associated with the fact that a growing proportion of patients newlinewill outlive the expected lifetime of their prostheses. Therefore, required remediation newlineoperations that put severe physical and mental stress on patients and a high financial newlineburden on society are increasing. The demands for long-term usage of implant devices newlineand minimal toxic effects due to metal ions to get rid of painful surgery have stressed newlineto improve or develop better materials for orthopaedic applications. Biomaterials in newlinethe form of metals or ceramics play an important role to perform the normal activities newlineof human body. However metals can t be directly implanted in human body. The newlinemetallic implant gets deteriorated due to the aggressive environment inside human newlinebody. newline |
