dc.description.abstract | Recruitment is the process of drawing a candidate pool to a certain job inside a corporation (Brandão et al., 2019). The introduction of IT has altered the hiring process. In the mid-1990s, the Internet was originally employed as a recruitment tool and was labeled the quotrecruiting revolutionquot (Boydell, 2002). Worldwide, the Internet is becoming the default for researching and applying for employment (Parry and Wilson, 2009). In addition, both recruiters and job-seekers choose the internet as a cost-effective medium for announcing new positions and acquiring new positions. E-recruitment offers a single point of contact for job seekers and companies to interact in an efficient and cost-effective manner (Ibrahim et al., 2006). Numerous companies actively sought to influence and recruit candidates using their own web platforms, while others use external employment portals (Lee, 2005). newline | |
