Abstract: Recent studies reveal that the halide perovskite materials are newlinemost promising energy conversion materials. High absorption coefficient, newlinetunable bandgap, high open circuit voltage, solution-processability, and newlinecost-effectiveness opens the door to commercialization for this material. In newline2009, Miyasaka replaced the dye sensitizer with halide perovskite as a light newlineabsorber, giving an efficiency of ~4 %. Today, the performance of Perovskite newlineSolar Cells (PSCs) device has reached an efficiency of over 25 %. Although newlineperovskite solar cells offer many advantages, they have significant drawbacks newlinedue to their toxicity and lack of long-term stability. newlineIn the present work, the inclusion of additives in the perovskite newlineprecursor solution may aid in enhancing the stability and performance of solar newlinecells. Perovskite solar cells work effectively when tiny amounts of additives newlineare applied to change its surface morphology, crystal size, crystallinity, and newlinepreferred orientation. Improved carrier transport, a reduced non-radiative newlinerecombination rate, and a reduced percentage of surface defects all contribute newlineto higher solar efficiency. As a result, it is worthwhile to investigate the newlineadditive approach into the perovskite precursor for Carbon-based Perovskite newlineSolar Cells (CPSC).
