Abstract: From previous expedite researches conducted on diabetic patients, it is implicated that diabetes is oxidative stress induced inflammatory disease. The normoglycemic individuals first experience a stage of latent hyperglycemia i.e. prediabetic phase before developing diabetes. The progression from normal-prediabetic-diabetic state is induced by insulin resistance that is a hallmark of oxidative stress responses. Both insulin resistance and oxidative stress are the important risk factors to diabetes, as they develop a vicious cycle i.e. oxidative stress induces insulin resistance that further exaggerates the oxidation and as a result inflammatory responses. newline
