Title: Suitability of RHA GGBS Scrap Plastic and C and D Waste in Constructionin Context of Mechanical Properties of Conventional Concrete

Abstract: Concrete is widely used construction material worldwide. The supplementary materials are Fly newlineAsh (FA), Silica Flume (SF), and Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) may be used newlinedue to their pozzolanic activity in concrete product. Recycling of waste concrete may be newlineeffective in order to reduce the construction waste and might be effective for conservation of newlinenatural sources. It might be a good choice to reduce the CO2 emission by using various types of newlinesupplementary cementing materials (SCMs), like as Rice Husk Ash (RHA) and Ground newlineGranulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS), as a cement replacement in the final concrete product. newlineBy reducing the use of Portland cement in concrete product, we can reduce the impact of CO2 newlineemissions in our environment. In the present study, it was proposed to studyof binary blending newlineof waste materials (RHA and GGBS) as partial replacement ofOPC in respect of strength when newlineit is exposed to water for different period and durability for different period. It was also newlineproposedto study the binary blending waste material (plastic waste and Plastic CandD waste) as newlinepartial replacement of coarseaggregate and fine aggregate and water absorption test was conducted newlineusing binary blended material as partial replacement of cement and aggregates and to evolve newlineoptimum replacement levels of RHA and GGBS as partial replacement of cement and plastic newlinewaste and CandD waste as partial replacement of coarse and fine aggregates andto analyze cost of newlineconcrete made using binary blended materials as partial replacement of cement aggregates with newlinereference to conventional concrete. Test resultshow that addition of RHA and GGBS in concrete newlineconsiderably improved the strengthand water absorption test results. Inclusion of plastic waste in newlinethe same further improved the strength and water absorption test results. newline
