Abstract: | Consumer behavior is a highly complex and varied activity of human beings. There are several newlinefactors social, economic, cultural, and psychological that determine the buying behavior of newlineindividual consumers. Socio-economic factors are highly predominant towards generating newlinerevenues in the market. In a country with diverse variables, it becomes imperative to study these newlinefactors with respect to India. Due to more disposable income and the availability of easy credit newlinecoupled with a high materialistic style of living, Indian customers are now the darlings of newlinecompanies. Buying behaviour is a complex process that is influenced by many factors. The newlineconsumer making a purchase is be affected by factors like demographic, social, and economic newlinefactors. Demographic factors include gender, race, age, etc., which in the family are responsible newlinefor the decision-making of young people whose product thing for different reasons than older newlinepersons. Social factors include consumer wants, learning, motive, etc. which are influenced by the newlineopinion of the family. Families go through stages. In this research, an attempt has been made to newlinestudy the impact of socio-economic factors on buying patterns of consumers. newline |
