Abstract: Present study incorporates the deals Taxonomy, Population Dynamics and Biochemical Profiles of Helminths in freshwater fish species of genus Mastacembelus armatus from different collection sites of Nanded Region, M.S.India., with a view to identifying the species recovered by morphological criteria based on light microscopy. The Helminths occurring in freshwater fishes of Mastacembelus armatus, are studied. The Helminth parasites spectrum recovered from Mastacembelus armatus in the study area comprise of Four Cestodes, Two Digenetic Trematodes and Two Nematodes. newlineThesis Comprises of newlineSECTION I- TAXONOMY OF CESTODE PARASITES OF MASTACEMBELUS ARMATUS. newlineSECTION II- TAXONOMY OF TREMATODE PARASITES OF MASTACEMBELUS ARMATUS. newlineSECTION III- TAXONOMY OF NEMATODE PARASITES OF MASTACEMBELUS ARMATUS. newlineSECTION IV- POPULATION DYNAMICS OF HELMINTHS OF MASTACEMBELUS ARMATUS. newlineSECTION V- BIOCHEMICAL STUDIES OF PARASITES AND COMPARATIVE STUDY OF INFECTED AND HEALTHY HOST TISSUE newlineSECTION VI- BIBLIOGRAPHY. newlineSECTION I: TAXONOMY OF CESTODE PARASITES OF MASTACEMBELUS ARMATUS. newlineIn present study, four new cestodes Senga indicus Sp.Nov.; Senga vishnupurensis Sp.Nov.; Ptychobothrium armatii Sp.Nov.; Polyonchobothrium follicularis Sp.Nov. belonging from Three genera i.e. Senga, Ptychobothrium and Polyoncobothrium. These cestodes are from two orders viz. Pseudophyllidea, Carus, 1863 and Proteocephalidea Mola, 1928 of two families viz. Ptychobothriidae, Luhe, 1902 and Proteocephalidae La, Rue, 1911. newlineTaxonomic key of Ptychobothrium Loennberg, 1889 and comparative charts showing the taxonomic and taxometric features of Senga Dollfus, 1934 is also newlineAbstract newline2 newlineprovided. All the Cestode parasites were collected from host fishes Mastacembelus armatus. newlineSECTION II: TAXONOMY OF TREMATODE PARASITES OF MASTACEMBELUS ARMATUS. newlineThis part deals with morphology and taxometric analysis of digenetic trematode parasites of freshwater fishes. During this investigation 02 trematode species belonging to two order Prosostomata Odhner, 1905 and Plagiorchiida and two familie
