dc.description.abstract | Human capital management is a combination of individual talents, skills and knowledge of the Employees.The efficiency of human capital management purely depends upon the achievement of goals of the organization with the help of employees knowledge and skills. Many researches showed that more the Human capital managed in an efficient way more it leads to the development of the organization. The outcome of HR practices of firms on performance had a very positive relationship paving way for the success of the organization. This study concentrates on the major components or elements of Human Capital revealed in literature and their impact on IT companies in Chennai City. This research aims to bring out the importance and significance of Human Capital Management in IT companies in and around Chennai. The study is conducted using both analytical and descriptive type of methodology. The study primarily depends on primary and secondary data. The researcher considered top 5 IT companies namely TCS, Infosys, Polaris, Cognizant and Cap Gemini for the selection of sample. newline | |
