dc.description.abstractRecently, electricity becomes vital part of global sustainable development over the globe and it significantly improves the quality of human lives. Numerous works have started to focus on the design of effective approaches for accomplishing electricity in an optimum and inexpensive manner. The current growth and projected growth in the power sector show that, in India, not only a huge demand for energy. Henceforth, the country is set a goal of pollution free sources called Renewable Energy Sources (RES) including Photo Voltaic (PV), Wind Energy, Bio-mass, fuel cells, etc., which are used rapidly to meet the power demand also to reduce the greenhouse effect. In this regard, invasion of renewable Distributed Generation (DG) into a power scheme performs an important part in the electrical Power Systems. newlineThe Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineering (IEEE) gives a brief description of DG as an electricity production i.e., adequately compact when compared to the centralized generated plant and are closely interconnected to the distribution. The tremendous growth in technologies, global challenges regarding the environment, and the requirement of the customer for cheaper and reliable electrical energy have resulted in growing attention in DG. But optimum sizing and allocation of DGs might carry different benefits namely boosting reliability, voltage control through cost, harmonic reduction, network loss reduction, infeasible network configuration, voltage stability, and minimization of real and reactive power losses (PLs) and continuous power supply. Several optimization techniques and algorithms were introduced for the applications of energy technology. Amongst the different algorithms, and technologies optimization existing the maximum potential for usage in the placement of DGs. newline
