Biometric traits are deeply bound with individual (unique) features, newlinewhereas the traditional system uses passwords (maximum 8 characters) and newlineID cards. A Biometric system provides higher robustness and reliability than newlinethe traditional authentication system. From the literature, it was obvious that newlinebiometric system takes more processing time and power to verify to process newlinethe physiological or behavioral data. A biometric authentication system is newlinehighly secure and robust than a password based cryptography based newlineauthentication because it is very difficult to tamper with the physiological newlinefeatures. Therefore, a biometric authentication system provides a reliable and newlinerobust solution. Hence, it is understood that cryptographic unique keys newlinegenerated from the physiological and behavioral features of an individual newlineshould be irrevocable and irreversible. newlineThe main objective of this thesis is to develop a multimodal newlineenhanced crypto biometric authentication system using the Iris modality. An newlineattempt has been made: (i) To develop multimodal biometric cryptographic newlinekey generation using feature level fusion of Iris and Keystroke dynamics (ii) newlineTo develop multimodal biometric cryptographic newline
