Abstract: | Cloud computing is regarded as an emerging computing paradigm to deliver proper services to the user. It relies mainly on different technologies like grid computing, virtualization, etc. The main aim of cloud computing is to improve the scalability in its operation and reduction of cost in terms of increasing infrastructure and good quality services. This ensures that the services offered to an organization is less cost and provide various business opportunities. The services in cloud computing tends to increase its attention over recent areas of information technology. Cloud computing services is regarded as an internet based application that offer services like storage systems, social networking and distributed file systems for facilitating storage, data synchronization, sharing, and contents made available in multiple formats. The capabilities (or) the usage of cloud services increase as more number of users accesses the cloud storage for services. Hence, the cloud service providers increase their attention to access the file effectively with optimal management of files. However, these file management system (or) storage requires an effective authentication mechanism for protecting its data files, associated technologies and other transactions. Authentication in cloud storage focuses on types of data transmission, system and data security in cloud storage environment across various cloud servers, especially in public clouds. These data storage system need several requirements to preserve the data user. It requires high reliability, high availability, high data replication, high performance and higher consistency of data newline |
