Abstract: To reduce the use of limited non-renewable energy sources such newlineas coal and petroleum, we need a new era to find a permanent energy newlinesource. The photovoltaic solar cell technique has great potential to newlinebuild clean, pollution-free, and inexpensive energy. The CdSe thin films newlinehas recently emerged as the polycrystalline thin film solar module newlinematerial that has achieved the greatest level of commercial success. The newlineCdSe material is low cost, large surface area solar cell devices are newlinereshaping the silicon dominated solar panel. However, the CdSe has newlinemuch room to improve and thus more fundamental analysis needed. newlineCadmium telluride (CdTe) is an important component that is employed newlinein the production of heterojunction solar cells in addition to a variety of newlineother optoelectronic devices. Research on thin film solar cells is newlinecurrently concentrated on two primary areas: the first of these is newlinedetermining loss causes and gaining an understanding of the newlinepolycrystalline nature of single junction devices in order to enhance newlinedevice performance. newlineA further one is the investigation of novel materials and the production newlineof tandem solar cells. In this study, in addition to the work that has been newlinedone by other peoples to improve the efficiency of CdSe solar modules newlineby adding the telluride (Te) material. This research focuses on creating newlineternary CdSe1-xTex (0 and#8804; x and#8804; 1) material using a homemade spray newlinepyrolysis method and characterized them for photovoltaic solar cell newlineapplications as it is one of the ideal candidates for the solar cell material newlinewith its band gap 1.45eV. newlinePh.D. Thesis, Mr. Arvind D. Kanwate, 2022, S.R.T.M.U, Nanded. newlineThis dissertation is designed for the fabrication of CdSe1-xTex (0 and#8804; newlinex and#8804; 1) thin films by simple and coast effective spray pyrolysis method newlinefor the application of photovoltaic devices. newlineChapter 1: This chapter briefly overviews the demand for newlinerenewable energy and conducts a literature review to identify earlier newlinestudies and offer direction for our main area of study. Recognizing the newlinegaps in the research is our goal.
