Perceived support from parents can encourage positive newlineviews of the self when interacting with others (Henry, 1994). Specifically, when newlineadolescents experience positive interactions and experiences with parents, they feel newlinemuch more satisfied with the parent-child relationship (Henry, 1994; Henry and newlinePlunkett, 1995)
