Abstract: newline Parental support can be defined by the parent-child interaction that constitutes newlinenurturance and demonstrates approval, warmth and affection towards the adolescents newline(Peterson, 2005). Besides, perceived parental support can also help form a secure newlinefoundation for adolescents, so that they can navigate new challenges and new newlineexperiences (Peterson, 2005). Perceived support from parents can encourage positive newlineviews of the self when interacting with others (Henry, 1994). Specifically, when newlineadolescents experience positive interactions and experiences with parents, they feel newlinemuch more satisfied with the parent-child relationship (Henry, 1994; Henry and newlinePlunkett, 1995)
