dc.description.abstractTeaching in Management institutes is an exciting and challenging profession that combines newlineclassroom skills with emphasis on excellence in Academics. The Faculty while playing a newlinenumber of diverse as well as specialized roles as teachers, Mentors, Counselors, facilitators, newlineorganizers and administrators easily becomes prone to job stress. Job stress among newlinemanagement teachers working in private/deemed universities and affiliated institutes of newlineLucknow has received the attention of researchers during the last few years though stress in newlinehigher level teaching has not been a new topic all over the world including India. Job stress newlinewhich is generally negatively correlated with Stress Management interventions has been a newlinetopic of interest among various researchers. A dissatisfied and maladjusted Faculty of newlineManagement Institute cannot optimize the impact of his teaching on the knowledge of subject newlineareas of students. Hence, there is a need to study job stress, i.e. Stressors, Consequences of newlineStress and Moderators of Stress for management teachers working in private/deemed newlineuniversities and affiliated institutes of Lucknow.This study examined Sources, Consequences newlineand Moderators of Occupational Stress among Faculties of Management stream working in newlineprivate/deemed universities and affiliated institutes of Lucknow and nearby regions. It newlineaddressed four questions. These included: 1. what are various sources of stress among newlineacademic staff of Private educational institutions of management? 2. What consequences newlinedoes stress have on academic staff of Private educational institutions of management? 3. newlineWhat are the moderators of stress among academic staff of Private educational institutions of newlineManagement? 4. Whether stress has significantly differential effects on male and female newlineacademic staff of Private educational institutions of management (PEIM)? newline
