Abstract

In recent years, it has become a common practice to undergo medical scans for the diagnosis of a health issue. More than the symptoms, these scan reports give a clear picture regarding the internal anatomy and working of the organ under review and the patient s current state of health. This helps the medical doctor to easily and quickly identify the state and stage of the disease. The number of scans reports generated every day has drastically increased when compared to the situation a decade back. These scan reports need to be in the storage stack at least for the period of the treatment. As these reports take gigabytes of storage space, there is a need to find out a mechanism to retain these huge volumes of reports for a longer period. The hour demands to develop a scheme that can effectively select relevant medical images for a patient which can be retained for a longer period newline
