The focus of this work is on the methodologies which include the extraction, newlineisolation and characterisation of active constituents and herbal preparation. The analysis newlineof bioactive compounds presents in plant extracts of Nerium odorum Soland newline(karavira)involving the application of common phytochemical screening assays, a newlinechromatographic technique such as TLC and non- chromatographic technique such as newlinemicrobiological assay and Fourier transfers InfraRed (FTIR) have been done.
