An Analytical Study of Legal Mechanism for Combating Cyber Crimes in India with Special Reference to Uttar Pradesh

Abstract

The Cyber-world has now developed into a parallel form of reality in which a person has a distinct personality and life; and lives his life to such unimaginable extents. The irony is no one have had formal training about usage of internet and cyberworld, and whenever a person uses it, he unknowingly exposes himself to unlimited risks. One such risk is cybercrime. The government had enacted various laws to counter the menace of cybercrime but the problem seems to have risen since the inception. This study analyses the various lacunae which the cyber laws presently have and suggests the way forward. newline
