Abstract: | Software Engineering is an application of systematic, defined and measurable newlineapproach begins with requirement specification and progresses with planning, modeling newlineand ended with deployment at the client environment. It comprises various umbrella newlineactivities such as project tracking, technical reviews, quality assurance and control, newlineconfiguration change management and risk management. Software Engineering can be newlineviewed as a layered paradigm which comprises of process, methods and tools with the newlinebedrock of quality focus. The main purpose of Software Engineering approach is newlinecommitted to develop the software products within the stipulated time and budget with newlinemore quality. Advanced metrics have been developed by several researchers to measure newlinevarious quality parameters of software process and products. The quality product newlinemotivates the firmness, commodity and delight. newlineResearch in the area of software metrics incorporated for measuring the software newlineprocess can potentially result in significant advantages to quality of the software product. newlineIt is to be aware of the critical issues encountered in the software development: the extend newlineacross the estimated budget, operation are overrun, the late delivery of software and newlinesystems once delivered don t execute perfectly with lack of quality. In order to avoid these newlinedifficulties, the software development should be periodically tracked and measured in newlineIX newlinequantitative way to determine whether the final software entity meets the stakeholder newlinerequirements and objectives according to the feasibility. newline |
