Abstract: | An organic compound contains a heterocyclic ring has unique newlinebehavior than the regular organic molecule. among the various organic newlinecompounds, more than half of all known organic compounds have a wide newlinerange of chemical, biological and industrial applications. plenty of organic newlinecompounds are found in nature and it plays dynamic action on the metabolism newlinein human biological system and plants because their structural scaffolds have newlineresembled in most of the biomolecules including vitamins, hormones and newlinealkaloids, etc.heterocyclic compounds contain heteroatoms in their structure and newlinehave been used in our daily life. these compounds are cyclic compounds that newlinehave one or more heteroatoms like nitrogen, oxygen, sulfur, phosphorus, newlineboron and selenium. the compound contains heterocycles that have a wide newlinerange of applications in the field of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, newlineveterinary sciences, polymer sciences, etc. more than 90% of new drugs newlinecontain heterocycles that have shown considerable biological activities such newlineas antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, anticancer, newlineanticonvulsant, antihistamine, antidepressant activities. most of the natural newlineproducts have been marketed as drugs to treat various diseases that have newlineheterocyclic moieties. due to multiple biological applications of heterocyclic newlinecompounds, in this thesis, the novel heterocyclic compounds were newlinesynthesized. the synthesized compounds are characterized and studied newlinein vitro and in silico studies. the thesis is divided into six chapters. newlinechapter 1 describes the general introduction about heterocyclic newlinecompounds and their medicinal importance, selected heterocycles and their newlinebiological importance, previously synthesized reported bioactive compounds, newlinebasics of organic spectroscopies including uv-vis, ir, nmr and mass newlinespectroscopies, molecular docking studies and dft studies. newline newline newline |
