Effectiveness of Sikshya Sahayaks of Coastal Districts of Orissa in relation to their Sex Marital Status and Experience

Abstract

India is the largest democratic country of the world. The success of democracy newlinedepends upon the educated citizens. Democracy and illiteracy cannot pull together. newlineDemocratization of education is the need of the hour. It ensures Universalisation of newlineEducation. So far as India is concerned, giving primary education to all children newlinebelonging to age group 6-14 years is a challenge before us. The constitution of India newlineunder Article 21 (A) declares education as a fundamental right. It ensures free and newlinecompulsory primary education. Thus, UEE is a must for the development of the newlinenation. Different schemes and programmes are in progress to provide quality primary newlineeducation. Operation Blackboard, Sarva Sikshya Aviyan (SSA), D.P.E.P. are newlineexamples of some of these prominent programmes. These are being sponsored by newlineboth state and central government with the help of World bodies. newline
