dc.description.abstractnewline Stimulating home environment and variety of home affordances is an essential newlinedomain for optimum growth and development of infant especially motor development newlineat early development stages. The relationship between quality of home environment newlineand the level of motor development has been a field of active research since many newlinedecades. A number of risk factors for infant motor development have been identified. newlineBiological risk factors are one of them. Many studies related to motor development in newlineinfancy and early childhood have shown that more stimulating and supportive home newlineenvironments are related to better motor scores in infants. Socio-economic status newline(SES) of the family has often been considered as an important factor influencing the newlinechild development. Main objective of the study was to evaluate the association newlinebetween the biological risk factors and motor development and between motor newlinedevelopment and the home affordances for motor development.
