Abstract: | The softwareand#8208;defined network (sdn) is one of the network newlinearchitectures, in which the data plane and control plane is divided from each newlineother, and the network can be handled using a sensibly centralized controller and newlinethis method is adopted to reconfigure the wireless sensor network automatically. newlinein this research work, to implement the sdn in manet (mobile adhoc newlinenetwork) called sdmanet (software-defined manet), in which control newlinenodes can be chosen in sdn dynamically for the activation of manet function newlineto allocate the works to other mobile nodes to the base station. however, in the newlinefield of mobile ad hoc networks, the network lifetime and battery lifetime is one newlineof the major problems and the energy consumption can play a significant role for newlinethe transmission of data in the sdn. to overcome the issues, the following newlinemethods are proposed. fuzzy-based hybrid cgsr protocol for battery life improvement in newlinesdmanet hybrid improved whale with particle swarm optimization algorithm newline(hiw-pso)for data transmission improvementin the first work, the routing method is considered with the high battery life of every mobile node in sdmanet by improving the cgsr newlineprotocol with the help of fuzzy rules and pso. three phases are applied in this newlinemethod. in the first phase, the energy level mobile nodes are discovered by using newlinethe improved fuzzy rules based on their energy level. in the second phase, the newlinenodes clustering are done with help of hybrid cgsr, in which the cluster head newlinecan be selected using pso to overcome the disadvantage of cgsr protocol. in newlinethe final phase, the battery estimation is performed by applying the numerical newlineanalysis.in the second work, hiw-pso is proposed with directed acyclic newlinegraphs (dag) topology to enhance the data transmission by reducing the energy newlinehole issue. dag topology is constructed by calculating polynomial time for newlinelining purpose of all participant nodes through its edges. the proposed algorithm newlineis evaluated for network life-time, energy consumption, throughput, delay and newlinepacket delivery ratio. furth |
