Abstract: | The cloud is a scalable distributed computing environment where newlinethe computing resources are provided as service through internet. Due to the newlinedrastic shift towards digitization and ease of access, the number of cloud newlineconsumers increases day by day. Also the number of providers tends to newlineincrease in the market where cloud consumers are in need to analyze them for newlinefinding the risk with them before initiating the service. Usually, the process newlinethat happens in the cloud is monitored by the cloud service provider which newlinethen sends the usage report to the consumer. The pitfalls may occur with the newlinebillings that are generated by the provider, as the billing may vary in different newlinesituations such as handling the data overload, billing flexibility and in cloud newlineintegrations. For any observed deviations, the consumer has to manually newlineclaim the credit or penalty. Hence the consumers are in need of a trusted third newlineparty for analyzing the risk with the providers as well as to manage the newlineresources that are rendered from the cloud providers. newlineThus, this thesis explores different perspectives for analyzing the newlineproviders for finding the risk with the cloud service providers and discuss newlineabout the various managerial process that are carried out by the trusted cloud newlinebroker. The third party is introduced as a trusted party that interacts between newlinethe cloud consumers and the cloud service providers actively. The process of newlineTrusted Cloud Broker (TCB) is to analyze the risk with the cloud service newlineproviders and support the cloud consumers in selecting the optimal cloud newlineservice provider based on the risk values that are estimated. The TCB stores newlinethe information of all the providers and gets initiated between the cloud newlineservice provider and the consumer by creating the service level agreement newlinebetween all the three parties. newline |
